Gujarat Gas in 12-year supply pact with GSPC
State-owned gas distribution major Gujarat Gas Co Ltd (GGCL) has executed a long-term gas supply contract with its parent Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) for the purchase of 0.65 mmscmd for next 12 years. Under the agreement, GSPC will supply imported re-gasified liquefied natural gas (R-LNG) to GGCL from 1 January 2014 up to 1 July 2025. Tata Power's generation up by 62%
In the first six months of current financial year, Tata Power has increased electricity generation by 62 per cent, the company has said. Tata Power generated 22,738 million units of electricity in the first half compared with 14,029 million units a year earlier, the company said.
