RattanIndia Solar wins 40-MW project in Maharashtra
RattanIndia Solar said it has won 40 MW solar project in Maharashtra at a tariff of Rs.4.43 per kWh. ´RattanIndia Solar, through its company Sepset Constructions Limited, a part of the RattanIndia group, has won solar project of 40 MW capacity at a tariff of Rs.4.43/kWh plus a viability gap funding of Rs.49 lakh/MW in reverse e-auction conducted by Solar Energy Corporation Limited (SECI) on January 22, 2016,´ the company said in a statement

Reliance Power, Lanco seek higher solar tariffs
According to reports, Solar power plants of Reliance Power, Lanco and others, are seeking higher tariffs saying that the data on solar radiation provided by the government was faulty which has led to lower generation. Several companies have filed petitions before the central regulator, seeking higher tariffs jut as a panel chaired by Deepak Parekh recommended compensation for Tata and Adani´s higher costs of generation.
Mahindra to set up 200 mw solar plants in TN
With an investment of Rs 1,400 crore, Mahindra EPC wants to set up 200 mw of solar power plants in Tamil Nadu, across two locations — near Madurai and Tiruchi. When completed, a group company of Mahindra & Mahindra will own a third of the 200 mw capacity, while the rest would be sold to those who wish to own solar assets.
