AMPL invests Rs 408 cr on new plants
AMPL invested Rs 408.45 crore in a new steel, pellet and power plant at Jorehira in Bankura district of West Bengal said Ankit Metal and Power's managing director, Ankit Patni. The plant, which is expected to produce 45 MW of captive power, 0.6 mn t of pellet, one lakh tonne of wire rods and 30 TPD sponge iron, among other products, may begin operation by March end.
