Haryana’s first bio-CNG plant to come up in Kurukshetra
Kurukshetra will be soon getting its first bio-CNG plant based on agri-waste. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) and the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA).

CMI Ltd. bags order worth Rs 36 crore from GETCO
CMI Limited, has been awarded an order worth Rs 36.24 crore by Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO). for supply of 66 kV XLPE cables. The order is revenue accretive and will be delivered within two quarters of FY2017-18. The cables for the new order will be manufactured at CMI’s newly acquired facility at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
CPCL says company is out of reporting to BIFR
Indian Oil´s Chennai Petroleum Corporation said it will be out of reporting to the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) because of turn around in its performance.
CPCL-IOC merger necessary
Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan said that the Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL) had to be merged with its parent company Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL).
