Mytrah Energy reports $362.23 mn in revenue
Mytrah Energy Ltd, announced results for the year ended December 31, 2016. The company reported full year revenues of $362.23 million, an increase of 385 per cent, over last year’s revenue of $74.72 million. The increase is due to a combination of higher revenue from power generation and inclusion of construction revenue.
Guj annuls 4 GW coal plant
The state has annulled a 4 GW coal UMPP to be developed by the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation, citing existing surplus generation capacity (30 GW — old and renewable energy) and a desire to transition from fossil fuel–based energy sources to renewable power.

Virtuaal Infra Power signs agreement with InfraCo Asia
Green energy developer Virtuaal Infra Power Pvt Ltd (VIPL) has announced its association with Singapore based Infra Co Asia Development Pte. Ltd. The association will help Virtuaal Infra power in producing renewable energy in north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh.
