EVs: A Techno-Commercial Analysis
Electric Vehicles (EVs) offer a promising technology pathway for cutting down oil use and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions on a per-kilometre basis. Right policies are key to India's EV revolution

Rail LED mission on home stretch
The Chakradharpur railway division is likely to save around Rs 2.5 lakh annually in energy bills at three of its key stations, namely, Tatanagar, Rourkela and Jharsuguda. Railway officials said that installation of LED lamps at all the three stations, one of which is A1 category (Tatanagar) and the other two A category, was 80 per cent complete. Work was expected to be completed in another one week or so.
