On the back of positive developments for the Kudankulam nuclear project, the atomic power plant is set to join the big leagues. With six units and a capacity generation of 6,000 MW, the project will be similar in scale to the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine, which supplies half of the country’s power and is the 5th largest nuclear plant in the world.
