The World Bank recently has put out a report in which the demand for electricity in India is growing at the same rate as in France or Germany as millions of people in rural or impoverished areas seek access to power in their homes and workplaces.

The demand for electricity is ever increasing in India. urbanisation, infrastructure additions, growth in real estate, and of course the rural electrification project is spiralling the electricity demand.
Timely implementation of projects will boost switchgear markets
MNC players and established domestic firms tend to spend more on product improvement. The frequency of updating the features is usually two-three years. On the other hand, lesser-known brands who have established themselves for low/entry level products and prices, neglect investing in technology and bringing innovation into their product offerings.
