Right policies are key to India's EV revolution
EV is the most talked about topic in the energy industry today, because two energy sectors are involved - electric supply and oil and gas. On the supply ecosystem, the government is working on a policy as to who should be responsible for setting up the charging infrastructure.

Waste to wealth
According to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) Annual Report 2009-10, over 55 million tonnes of municipal solid waste (MSW) and a large quantity of liquid waste are generated every year by the urban population in India.

M&M, Creative Mark to supply renewable energy
For supplying renewable energy, the Pune-based Creative Mark Engineering Solutions and Mahindra & Mahindra have been selected by private telecom tower companies. At least 25 renewable energy service companies (rescos) had expressed interest in the project. Tower companies including Indus, Bharti Infratel, American Tower Corporation and Viom had floated a joint proposal for the project.
