OVL short-listed for oil, gas field auction in Mexico

GAIL awards Rs.550-cr contracts for ´Urga Ganga´ pipeline
GAIL (India) Limited, India´s biggest gas transporter, has awarded Rs.550 crore worth of contracts for laying part of ´Urga Ganga´ gas pipeline from Phulpur in Uttar Pradesh (UP) to Haldia in West Bengal (WB). Pipe contracts have been awarded to four companies for a 341 km stretch, GAIL said in a statement.
Coal prices fall to 12-yr low
Coal futures have fallen to 12-year lows, hit by soaring production and a slowdown in global buying, including from India and China.Benchmark API2 2016 coal futures last settled at $52.85 a tonne, a level not seen since November 2003.
