Over 16,000 out of 18,450 unelectrified villages, now electrified
Out of the 18,450 unelectrified villages, above 16,800 have been given power supply as on date, according to Union Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy RK Singh. The Minister also reiterated the the government’s commitment to provide electricty to un-electrified households by 2019.
