TN adds highest renewable energy capacity in 3-years
February 2013
Mainly through wind power generation, Tamil Nadu has added the highest renewable power generation capacity during the last three years, the Union government said on February 25. The data of renewable energy added in last three years in the country released by the New and Renewable Energy Ministry show that a total of 12,436 mw was added, of which wind energy contributed the highest followed by bio power and solar energy.
