The future is digitalisation
Our transmission and distribution (T&D) equipment industry, in 2017, covering towers, lines and devices, is around Rs 180 billion, including exports. At an aggregate level, the industry has grown nominally at ~ 3 per cent over 2016. However, towers, conductors, insulators, in particular showed negative growth.

Sprinting on a Growth Track
The World Bank recently has put out a report in which the demand for electricity in India is growing at the same rate as in France or Germany as millions of people in rural or impoverished areas seek access to power in their homes and workplaces.
