Despite having been a part of the India power T&D for over 50 years, lack of awareness and expertise of utilities, have left monopoles as yet obscured.
Monopoles can replace angular towers when facing RoW issues
Monopoles are used for a series of applications and are ideal for use when sufficient availability of land is restricted. They are the least intrusive and easiest towers to erect, making them one of the most popular tower types in the industry.
On the Right Track
Globally, 20 per cent of the total generated energy is used for lighting purposes alone. Experts are of the opinion that the said number has to be revoked considering the challenges arising from climate change issues.
Regardless of where in the world a utility operates, or under what variation of regulatory regime, three priorities resonate across them all: ensuring that the energy supply is reliable, supplying it efficiently and safely.
