Wind energy sector to see rise in IPO activities globally
Globally there were 14 M&A transactions in Q3 2013, four of which disclosed amounts, totalling $280 million. However, these activities were slow in Indian market. M&A and project funding for wind energy project has witnessed an upswing during the third quarter of the current fiscal. Total funding in the wind sector came in at $5.6 billion in Q3 2013, including VC funding and other equity financings.
